Plant seed in pots or modules in warm (20+ degrees) conditions and plant out after 8-9 weeks into a sunny position after all threat of frost has passed, or plant seed direct when soil temperature exceeds 15 degrees. Soaking seed in water for 12 hours before planting improves germination.

We're in Berrima, Southern Highlands, NSW. We grow this variety in our flourishing school garden at Berrima Public School. last summer we won a first at the Moss vale Show with this one. Huge and glorious. Grown from seed without any hot house, though we're cold climate.
