Mix of 14 lettuce varieties for the perfect salad. Broadcast sow seeds about 2 cm apart from 3 weeks before last frost. Cover lightly or rake in and pat down soil gently before mist spraying and keep moist. Ready to harvest in 35 or so days. Either cut plants about 2 cm above the groundor pick leaf by leaf. Use as is in salad or mix with rocket, endive or chicory mixes. Make new plantings every three weeks or so for continuous harvest.

We're in Berrima, Southern Highlands, NSW. We grow this variety in our flourishing school garden at Berrima Public School. Great mix, very pretty and tender. We cut and regrow it several times before it gets too stressed. Children broadcast the seed in a large block and leaves are used when very young. Sometimes I leave a few lettuces that seem to be maturing nicely and let them mature to full size.

Excellent, colourful selection of tender leaf lettuce (easily the best mix I've found) - complete salad by itself. I plant tightly in rows (no thinning - pick as loose leaf) two or three times over spring/summer to ensure there's always more! (Adelaide Hills).

The best mix of all types of lettuce including bitter varieties. Grows well in winter & summer (Temperate zone)
