The leaves can be used in salads, soups, stews, stir-fries and potato dishes. A hardy perennial with ribbed stalks like celery and can grow to 2x2m. Up to 25 days to germinate.

We purchased this as a substitute for for celery and it has definitely lived up to that. It is obviously not identical to celery, having said that, it is a valuable addition to our culinary herbs. Fabulous in soups.
Does die down in our cold winter but comes back with a vengeance in spring.
Need to really keep moisture levels up to aid gemination.
