"Cultivated Rocket". The essential salad leaf of the 90's and on into the 00's, rocket provides an interesting spike to salad greens or on its own with a simple dressing. Easy and rewarding to grow, rocket should find a place in every garden no matter how small. When it is more mature, and stronger in flavour, it can be used in pasta sauces, or for a pesto varient.

Scatter the seeds about 1-2cm apart and gently cover by raking or scattering soil. It is at its best harvested when the leaves are 10-15 cm long (about 40 days) Make frequent plantings for a continuous picking. Conventional seed also available.
