Product Description
Strongly scented evergreen shrub up to 50cm tall and a native of the Mediterranean region. It has a very bitter taste and was used extensively in Middle Eastern and Roman cuisine but is now used to flavour grappa and has a variety of medicinal uses. Oil and leaves can cause blistering of the skin with sun exposure.
