I am now eating this plant and loving it. Extremely tender leaves tasting like spinach but not bitter at all. Leaves have a smooth texture, thicker than lettuce so nice to chew and are a lovely deep green colour. An excellent salad leaf.

I sowed seed direct into the garden bed (into furrows with a little seed raising mix) and got great germination. Still too early to harvest so I can't comment on flavour etc. yet.
