A popular vegetable in Europe, Celeriac is a close relative of celery and lovage, with the swollen corm being eaten raw in salads and cooked in soups and mash. Plant in the spring in full sun or partial shade and keep well watered and fed. Bianco di Veneto (white from Venice) forms 8-12 cm diameter roots with a delicate flavour and are stringless.
This variety recommended by Maggie Beer in Gardening Australia Magazine. 4g about 10,000 seeds.
