Annual Plant about 60cm tall. Easy to cultivate. Produces lots of different coloured flowers and is ideal for flower beds and cut flowers. 

The seeds produce a small clump of tubers in their very first year of growing. Dahlia's grown from seed or tubers will both result in a flowering plant in the first year. However, as tubers store more energy than seeds.

Sprinkle your dahlia seed over the top of the soil. Then lightly cover with potting soil. Lightly water so that soil is damp and continue to water lightly keeping the soil damp during sprouting. Sprouting should occur within a 7 to 10 day period.
