The red skin is translucent, making the onion look almost pink.  Mid-early, round, red-skinned onion with tender, mild flavoured flesh and ideal for eating raw in salads, making onion pastes and skewering for the BBQ.  Excellent sliced thinly and served with tomato and balsamic vinegar
